Kabuhayan at Kinabukasan Alay ng MAPFRE sa Pinoy

KaKAMPi is a bundled microinsurance product that combines both life and non-life components especially designed for the marginalized sector. This affordable product, at twenty pesos per month, provides comprehensive coverage and protection.

KaKAMPi provides the following list of benefits.

  • Accidental Death and Disablement - In case of accidental death, partial and permanent disablement or total and permanent disablement, the insured or his or her beneficiary will receive the benefit based on the amount as specified in the policy contract's Schedule of Benefits. 

  • Unprovoked Murder and Assault - A benefit payable in the event of injury or death if the insured was intentionally injured, assaulted, or killed by another person and that the event was not provoked by the insured. The event must not have occurred in any of the restricted locations. Click here to see complete list of restricted locations.

  • Motorcycling - This benefit covers death and bodily injury sustained in connection with the use of motorcycle, motor scooter, or any two wheeled vehicle other than while he or she is engaged in speed trials, competitions, pacemaking or racing of any kind.

  • Fire Assistance - A benefit payable in the event of loss or damage to the insured's house or contents due to fire and lightning.

  • Bereavement Assistance - A benefit payable in the event of the insured's death due to a natural cause.

  • Loan Redemption - A benefit payable in the event of the insured’s natural or accidental death (this includes death arising from unprovoked murder and assault and motorcycling related accident). Amount of insurance is equivalent to the insured’s outstanding loan obligation at the time of death. Any excess from the original amount of insurance, after redeeming the insured’s outstanding loan balance, shall be payable to the insured’s designated beneficiary.
